Dear SAN Colleagues,
The 2016 ASA Annual Meeting is NOW soliciting Invited Session Proposals the=
2016 Annual Meeting Program! The deadlines and link explaining the submis=
sion process is below. I suspect ASA will include its usual Social Dimensio=
ns of AIDS Session in the regular paper sessions. These invited sessions a=
re in addition to that.
In the past SAN members have been successful organizing invited Sessions. =
See attached for two Thematic proposals that were accepted in the previous =
years (there have been others). As you can see, not much is involved in th=
e proposals. If you need help identifying panelist I may be able to sugges=
t members based on the topic you plan to propose. Just let me know.
The 2016 Meetings are in Seattle, WA and the Theme is: Rethinking Social Mo=
vements: Can Changing the Conversation Change the World?
